No School Monday, September 6
Happy Labor Day!
Chapel for Wednesday, September 8 will be led by Pastor Pierce.
Chapel Offerings are taken each Wednesday at the Chapel service. This week the offerings were $50.61. The first quarter’s offering will support the Heifer Project. It’s Mission is to end hunger & poverty in under-developed countries. It provides gifts of livestock and training to help families improve their nutrition and generate income in sustainable ways. Hot Lunch Bills are coming home today via email. They are due Wednesday, September 15.
Shepherd’s Kids Bills are due Tuesday, September 7.
School Dismisses at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 3. There are no afternoon Shepherd’s Kids services this day. Enjoy your weekend.
Board of Directors Meeting
Thursday, September 9 at 7:00 p.m.
Health Screening K-8: September 13th and September 21st.
It includes vision, hearing, blood pressure, height, weight, and dental check.
The Health Screening also involves a Scoliosis screen for Grades 4-8.
4th graders will be screened on Monday, Sept. 13 and 5-8 will be screened on Tuesday, Sept. 21st. Permission forms are being sent home today and are due by September 8.

 Wondering about the labels we collect for points? We collect Box Tops for Education, Campbell’s, Tyson, and Best Choice. Please place them in the wicker box next to the office.

Shepherd’s Kids breakfast is served at 7:30 am. If your student eats with us, please have them here by that time to ensure enough time for this important meal.
PTL NEWS
PTL (Parent Teacher League) will meet September 14 at 6:30 p.m. There will be time for Q&A. If you have any questions please contact Tom Stone.

Faculty and Staff Dinner
There’s a sign up sheet on the bulletin board by the water fountain. Parents, please sign-up to bring a dish for the faculty and staff during parent/Teacher conferences on Thursday, September 16.
Volleyball schedule
Practices are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:45 until 5:30 pm. Please bring knee pads and a water bottle. The first game is on September 18. Any questions please see Miss Dart.
